This 440 ft long hoarding installation has completely transformed the space between Galleria III and the upcoming fourth building at Galleria On The Park. It is highly visible from the busy Dupont & Dufferin intersection, and extends along the entire length of the Galleria III building towards the shopping centre behind. It was commissioned by real estate developer Almadev, and created in collaboration with The Brand Factory who was responsible for integrating renderings and copy into the artwork. In addition to the swirling abstract design, I was also tasked with creating bold typographic moments in two spots along the hoarding, declaring the area “The New Dupont”. This piece was an exercise in building excitement about the development, and creating a landmark in the neighbourhood, using bold colour and impactful typography.
